Hubby comes home on Saturday and decides after 18 months of living in the burbs that it’s time to become a two car family.  So off we all go to the local Nissan dealership and right away we approached by a salesman.  We tell him what we are looking for, go for a test drive and decide, yes this the car we want. So now starts all the back and forth annoyances of haggling over the price.  We say a crazy low number, salesman smiles and giggles a bit and goes back to his Sales Manager.  This happens a few times and finally the Sales Manager comes out from the back, like Oz stepping out from the curtain.   After a few minutes of chit chat and the BS that comes from Sales Managers out comes this:

a marker bigger than this guys head!  Now, I know a few things about the car business and this is their way of saying negotiating is over.  You should have seen the look on hubbies face, priceless!  Finally an hour later, hubby drive home in this:

So tip of the day, when the Sales Manager takes out the Sharpie, be prepared to A) walk or B) take that price.
