Saturday I hosted a Baby Sprinkle (a shower for a second baby) for a good friend at Indigo Kitchen in Montclair New Jersey. http://www.indigosmoke.com/ Food was great, company was great, but gotta say the favors rocked my world!  A friend had told me about this baker on Long Island who goes by the name The Sugar Chic http://www.thesugarchic.com/ who does beautiful cookies to use as favors.  Now it’s two weeks before the Sprinkle and I still hadn’t decided on a favor, so after tooling around The Sugar Chic’s (aka Melissa) website, I was sold.  I e-mailed Melissa, she responded quickly, we exchanged a few e-mails, then had a great phone conversation to iron out the details.  Bottom line, Melissa was excellent to work with, had great ideas, could get me my order right before the valentine’s day rush with no problem and again was just awesome to do business with!  It does get better…. I also ordered some chocolate chip cookies and HOLY COW, they were unreal, I had to fight the hubby for my share!  Saturday, I brought home one of the favors and we shared the cookie after dinner and again, just fantastic!
